Choose your practice
Choose your interview target role or English conversation topic, practice language, and preferred format (voice or text). No account required. Your preferences are saved locally in your browser.
Meet a partner
We match you with another adult peer practicing the same track. For mock interviews, job relevance helps pair you with someone in or near your field. The first interviewer role is assigned randomly on the server.
Run a mock interview
One person interviews and the other answers. The interviewer can share question prompts and ask follow-ups. Either person can request a role swap; roles switch as soon as your partner accepts.
Share peer feedback
At the end of your session, you can send one useful strength and one practical suggestion. Feedback comes directly from your partner. heystranger does not generate automated interview scores or assess your performance.
Want English conversation instead?
Choose English practice on the home page. You will be matched only with someone who selected that path. Start with a topic or a prompt, then take the conversation where it goes. A partner may not be a teacher or native speaker.
Stay in control
Share only what you are comfortable sharing. You can end, block, or report from the practice room. Voice requires microphone permission, and heystranger does not record call audio. Read the community rules and privacy policy before joining.
